Want to know if you’re manifesting correctly? Follow these 3 steps to see if you’re on the right track.
In order to manifest what you want, you must focus on the presence of it and expect it to come.
An easy way to tell whether you’re satisfying these two conditions is by how you feel.
Focusing on the presence of what you want always feels good.
But focusing on the absence of what you want always feels bad.
That is why I teach in my book Feeling Good that feeling good is the secret to manifesting.
Feeling good about your desire all the time means that you’re in absolute vibrational alignment with it, and by the Law of Attraction, it must come to you.
Step 1: Think About Your Desire and Notice How It Feels
The first step to check if you’re manifesting correctly is to just think about your desire and notice how it feels.
If you’re manifesting multiple things, just pick one out and focus on it for a moment.
Then ask yourself, “How do I feel right now?”
Keep your answer simple here. Do you feel good or bad?
If you’re unsure, identify the emotions that you’re feeling and check their vibrations using the Emotional Guidance Scale.
Feeling good is a sign from your Inner Guidance System that you are manifesting correctly.
If you think about your desire and you feel good or positive emotions, it means that you are dominantly focused on the presence of your desire and you believe it will come to you.
But if you think about your desire and you feel bad or negative emotions, it means that you are dominantly focused on the absence of your desire and you don’t believe it will come to you.
Step 2: Focus On The Presence of Your Desire
The second step to check if you’re manifesting correctly is to determine if you’re focusing on the presence or absence of your desire.
In other words, are you manifesting the presence of what you want or the absence of what you don’t want?
For example, if you’re manifesting financial abundance, you can either think: I want to be rich! Or I don’t want to be broke!
While these two statements sound similar, there is a huge vibrational difference in terms of their energy.
The first statement is focused on the presence of what you want.
The second statement is focused on the absence of what you don’t want.
And the Law of Attraction always brings you the essence of what you think about, whether you want it or not.
So thinking about not being broke will actually manifest more outcomes that support your lack of wealth.
This means that you cannot focus on what you don’t want and manifest what you do want.
If you want to manifest what you want, you must focus on the presence of what you want—not the absence of what you don’t want.
Step 3: Expect It To Come
The final step is to determine if you’re expecting your desire to come or not.
In other words, do you actually believe your desire will manifest, or do you have doubts?
A quick way to check if you have doubts or resistance against what you want is to see if you’re following up your desire to have something with “buts”:
- I want that new car, but it’s too expensive.
- I want to get that job, but the market is too competitive.
- I want to find a partner, but I’m terrible at dating.
All of these statements with a but are indicators that you don’t believe you can manifest what you want.
And if you don’t believe you can manifest it, you won’t manifest it.
To manifest what you want, you must believe your desire will come to you.
Support your desire with reasons why you believe you will have it:
- I will have that new car because I am the creator of my own reality.
- I will get that job because I am the best candidate for the position.
- I will find a partner because I am ready for love.
