How To Trust In God’s Plan In 3 Steps

How do you trust in God’s plan in difficult times? Read this blog to find out how to trust in God’s plan in 3 steps.

It’s hard to believe in God’s plan when our lives seem to be falling apart.

But times of crisis are the best time to strengthen your faith in God.

In fact, these “obstacles” are divinely placed into your life to strengthen your faith and connection to your Higher Power.

At any given moment, we can either see the world through the lens of fear or the lens of love.

When you see the world through the lens of fear, God’s plan is hidden because you are blinded by limitations and obstacles.

But when you set the world through the lens of love, God’s plan is revealed because you remember the infinite possibilities and opportunities that are available to you.

Follow these 3 steps below to trust in God’s plan.

1. See From The Lens of Love

The first step to trusting in God’s plan is to see everything from the lens of love.

The reason why we find it hard to trust in God’s plan is that we don’t know what it will look like.

But God’s vision is available to us all.

Since God is Love, seeing the world as God sees it means seeing the world as Love sees it.

Love is the answer to all of our perceived problems in life.

When you see the world through the lens of fear, it’s impossible to see God’s plan because you can only see limitations and obstacles.

But when you set the world through the lens of love, you gain access to God’s plan because you can see the infinite possibilities and opportunities that are available to you.

Whenever you shift your perception from fear to love, you experience a miracle on the thought level.

This miracle will eventually manifest on the physical level because our thinking shapes our experiences.

According to the Law of Cause and Effect, when your thinking (cause) changes, your experience (effect) will change accordingly.

2. Follow Your Inner Guide

The second step to trusting in God’s plan is to follow the voice of your Inner Guide (also known as your intuition.)

As I explain in my book Feeling Good, your Inner Guide is the voice of God within you.

It is always guiding you toward solutions of the highest good.

This guidance often shows up as an intuitive thought, feeling, or desire to do something.

For example, that unshakable feeling that you’re meant to be doing something else with your life? That’s the call from your Inner Guide.

But the reason why it’s so hard for us to “hear” this guidance is that we block it.

Many of us have been taught to make our decisions based on external evidence rather than internal guidance.

Instead of honoring our intuition which is naturally programmed to lead us toward our highest good, we are taught to dismiss our intuition as “unrealistic” or “just not the adult thing to do”.

But the good news here is that your connection to your Inner Guide may only be temporarily forgotten but never permanently destroyed.

When you say yes to your inner guide and reclaim your connection to the Universe, you become powerful beyond measure.

When you remember that God doesn’t exist outside of you but within you, you activate your superpower.

You open the floodgates to an ever-present stream of love.

In the presence of love, you can perceive obstacles as opportunities.

You can perceive challenges as lessons.

You can perceive the difficult people in your life as assignments.

And most of all, you can feel good knowing God is always with you.

3. Act In Accordance With Love

The final step to trusting in God’s plan is to act in accordance with love.

We may not always know what’s the next best action to take, but God does.

As I teach in my book Feeling Good, if you’re not sure of know what to do next, always ask yourself, “What would Love do right now?”

Then sit in stillness and receive guidance from your Inner Guide.

Maybe you will be called to forgive someone who hurt you. Perhaps you will be guided to take a leap of faith in your career. Or maybe the answer is to do simply nothing for now.

Honor whatever guidance that shows up.

The answer may not be what you expected or wanted to hear, but it will always serve your best interest.

Remember that Love is synonymous with God.

We may have a different understanding of God, but Love is universal.

When you act in accordance with Love, you can approach the situation as God would which allows you to take the next best right action.

The energy of love is the highest vibrational frequency you can embody, so trust that when you assume the perspective of love, you will manifest solutions of the highest good for all.
