What Is A Miracle?
A miracle is a shift in perception.
That is the most basic definition of a miracle from the metaphysical text, A Course In Miracles.
When most people think of miracles, they think of the miraculous events that Jesus performed in the Bible such as walking on water or turning water into wine.
Now, these are indeed acts of miracle but not all miracles need to be of that magnitude.
A Course In Miracles says that there is no order of difficulty in miracles. Even something seemingly insignificant such as letting go of a negative thought is a miracle in and of itself.
When you adopt this perspective of seeing miracles, you will begin to realize that miracles are happening all around you. Your only job is to notice them.
Miracles are your birthright. When you’re in vibrational alignment with the energy of love, you become a magnet for miracles.
Can You Ask God For A Miracle?
Yes. You can ask God for a miracle.
When you ask God for help, He always answers—but it may not be in the way that you planned it.
A lot of people pray to God (or the Universe or Source) asking for what they want.
But how can you possibly know what you want when it was your best thinking that got you in this negative situation in the first place?
Rather than claiming to know the solution to your problem, you should simply pray to see the situation differently.
This correction in perception helps you see the situation as God would see it and opens you up to the infinite possibilities and opportunities that you may have missed otherwise.
This shift in perception from fear to love is a miracle on the metaphysical level which then paves the way for a miracle on the physical level.
Follow these 5 steps below and manifest miracles now.
1. Claim Your Power As A Miracle Worker
The first step to manifesting miracles is to claim your power as a miracle worker.
A Course In Miracles says miracles are natural. When they do not occur, something has gone wrong.
That “something” the Course refers to is our habit to lean into fear instead of love.
When we allow the voice of our ego (fear) to run our lives, we become disconnected from love and we forget our ability to co-create miracles with God.
If you want to manifest miracles in your life, you have to become unapologetic about your ability to co-create miracles with God.
Although most of us have forgotten this truth, remember that we are all born to be miracle workers.
Every time we shift away from fear and return to love, we work a miracle.
As you vibrate closer to the high frequency of love, joy, peace, and compassion, you restore the natural order of the universe and miraculous events will begin to occur all around you.
You will experience synchronicities, manifestations, and miraculous situations, people, and outcomes.
But the prerequisite to all miracles is to believe you have the power to work miracles in the first place.
2. Ask For Miracles
The second step to manifesting miracles is to ask God for miracles.
Miracles are a co-creation between you and the god of your own understanding.
Asking God for miracles is a massive statement that you are ready to surrender to a power greater than yourself.
Use this prayer to open up the floodgates of miracles into your life: “Thank you, God, for helping me remember where my true power lies. I remember that I am love and I welcome the flow of miracles into my life.”
Prayer is a conduit for miracles. Know that every prayer is heard and answered immediately.
The only thing left to do is to look out for miracles.
3. Look For Miracles
The third step to manifesting miracles is to look for miracles intentionally.
Miracles are happening all around you, you just have to notice them.
When something good happens in your life (no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at the time), I want you to recognize it as a miracle.
The voice of your ego (fear) will tempt you to label things as coincidence and random happenstance, that’s why it’s so important to call a miracle out when you see it.
The more you train yourself to look out for miracles, the more miracles you will be able to see.
4. Write Down Your Miracles
The fourth step to manifesting miracles is to write down your miracles.
Most of us have spent all our lives focusing on all that we lack and all that’s not working, so we have a strong bias to focus on negativity rather than positivity.
That’s why it’s so important for you to record your miracles in your Miracle Log.
I talk in-depth about this practice in my book, Feeling Good, but a Miracle Log is a journal for you to record all the miracles you experience in your life.
We are often hyper-focused on the areas of lack and fear that we lose sight of all the good that is in our lives.
This is why we must consciously redirect our attention back to all the good in our lives in order to restore our ability to see miracles.
Whenever you experience a miracle, synchronicity, or manifestation, write it down in your Miracle Log.
All these journal entries will serve as your spiritual proof that you are indeed being guided by a force greater than you.
5. Celebrate Your Miracles
The final step to manifesting miracles is to celebrate your miracles.
Whenever you manifest miracles, that’s a sign from God that you are being supported and guided.
So don’t forget to thank God!

When feelings of doubt or misalignment show up, turn to your Miracle Log again and celebrate the miracles you have experienced in the past.

How do I ask God for a miracle?
The way you ask God for a miracle is through your thoughts.
Every thought is a request to God asking for what you want and God is always saying ‘Yes’ to your requests.
So if you want to ask for a miracle, all you have to do is to focus on manifesting a solution to your problem and then trust that help is already on the way.
This means no complaining, no doubting, and no wallowing in your own misery. You can’t focus on the problem and receive a miracle at the same time.
What prayer can I say for a miracle?
Prayer is the medium for miracles. Every prayer is asked and fully responded to by God. Here are 10 prayers you can say to ask God for a miracle.
- I choose to see this situation differently. I’m willing to see this from the lens of love.
- Reorganize this situation for me. I choose to see peace instead of this.
- I surrender these fearful thoughts to you for transformation. Gently guide me back to loving thoughts.
- I give up my limiting beliefs around this situation. I welcome higher forms of thinking.
- I claim miracles as my birthright. I am here to co-create miracles with God.
- Everything is happening for my highest good. It’s safe for me to step back and let God lead the way.
- I forgive everyone and everything that happened in the past. I give up these stories so I can write new ones with God.
- I give up my need to control my life. It’s time to let God do for me what I cannot do for myself.
- I surrender this situation to God. I welcome universal guidance, spiritual solutions, and creative ideas.
- I open the floodgates of miracles in to my life. I welcome a new way of living.
How Long Does It Take For God To Give You A Miracle?
When you ask God for a miracle, He responds instantly.
This help comes as a feeling of relief first.
Then your circumstance will begin to shift. You will begin to receive inspired ideas and creative solutions to face your situation with new energy.
What to Do After You Ask God For A Miracle
After you have asked God for a miracle, all you have to do is to relax and allow the solution to be presented to you.
Tune into your soul and listen to your intuition for guidance.
Your intuition is deeply connected to God and it will guide you to take action that results in the highest good for all.
What to Do After God Gives You A Miracle
After God gives you a miracle, thank Him for the guidance and then act upon it no matter how crazy or illogical it may seem to you.
It’s really important that you honor the guidance you received.
Otherwise, you will risk blocking yourself from receiving miracles from God in the future.
