Want to write a manifestation journal but don’t know where to start? Follow this guide to learn how to write a manifestation journal.
What is a Manifestation Journal?
A manifestation journal is a dedicated journal that you use with the intention to manifest what you want into reality.
You don’t need a special journal or template for it, simply use any blank notebook of your choice.
In the journal, you will write about the desires that you want to attract into your life as if they have already manifested.
How Do You Manifest Using a Manifestation Journal?
The key to manifesting using a manifestation journal is to write about your life as if your desires have already manifested.
Manifesting is all about believing that your desire will manifest no matter what.
The more you think about experiencing your desire, the faster you bring it into your reality.
Manifestation journal helps you with this embodiment process because it allows you to deliberately use your imagination to create the reality you desire.
When we are left to our own devices, we tend to think negatively and focus on what is not working. These negative thoughts repel our desire and create resistance against what we desire.
But a manifestation journal helps to retrain our minds to think thoughts that attract our desired reality.
Do Manifestation Journals Work?
Yes. Manifestation journals work for manifesting your desires.
The reason why manifestation journals help you manifest is that they help you rewire your mind to believe that it is possible for you to have what you want.
Most of us tend to think negatively and therefore we sabotage our desires with our thoughts which prevents them from manifesting.
This is why you must reprogram your mind to think in a different way if you want to manifest what you want—and manifestation journals can help you accomplish this easily.
How Long Does It Take To Manifest Using A Manifestation Journal?
It takes at least 40 days of consistent journaling for you to form a habit of thinking more positively.
After writing in your manifestation journal for 40 days, you should find it much easier to believe in the possibility of your desire.
Remember that you always attract what you believe.
When you fully believe that your desire is on its way, it will show up eventually.
How to Write a Manifestation Journal In 4 Steps
While there are no rules when it comes to using your manifestation journal, here are 4 steps you can follow if you need a framework when you’re just starting.
Step 1: Specify What You Want
The first step to using a manifestation journal is to clarify what you want by writing it down in your notebook.
Be specific on exactly what you want to bring into reality.
For example, if you want to manifest financial abundance, don’t just say you want to be rich. Expand on your desire by asking yourself:
- How much money do I want to manifest?
- When will I get this money?
- How will I earn this money?
- What will I do with this money?
- Who will benefit from this money?
Step 2: Clarify Your Intentions
The second step is to clarify your intentions behind your desire.
Why do you want to manifest this desire? How will this desire elevate your spirit and those around you?
The “why” here is important it will dictate whether you will attract positive or negative experiences.
Your thoughts and beliefs are like a magnet, and according to the Law of Attraction, you’ll attract experiences that match it.
Your energy creates your reality.
Therefore, it’s important to remember that it’s your feeling that attracts when it comes to manifestation.
Step 3: End With Gratitude
Always remember to write down things you’re grateful for in your manifestation journal.
Instead of focusing on what you lack, gratitude helps you shift your attention to all that you do have.
According to the Emotional Guidance Scale, gratitude is the highest vibrational feeling you can have.
By showing appreciation for what you currently have, you’re able to attract more of it.
If you are new to gratitude, use these gratitude affirmations to shift your attention from lack to appreciation.
Step 4: Meditate On The Feeling
The final step to using your manifestation journal is to meditate on what you wrote. Meditation is one of the most powerful techniques for manifesting.
If you’ve followed the framework above, you should have a beautiful piece of writing on your dream life and the positive feelings associated with it.
Take deep breaths and visualize as if you’re living your dream life right now.
Use your inhales to breathe in positive feelings and fill yourself with inspiration.
Use your exhales to breathe out any limiting beliefs that are blocking your way to your manifestation.
Manifestation Journal Example
If you are unsure what to write, here’s an example of a manifestation journal that I wrote when I was manifesting my new home and online business.
“I live in my own condo apartment in Toronto. It is all white with modern and minimal decor. Sunlight floods in through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. I am lying down on my comfortable queen-sized bed. I am thriving. I am smart, intelligent, and an entrepreneur. I have multiple streams of income. My clients truly love what I provide. My work is inspirational and useful. I am grateful for my business, friends, parents, food, and my job. I am peaceful, calm, and relaxed. I am in the best place of my life. Life is easy and fun.”
Feel free to use my journal as inspiration for your own.
