How To Manifest With A Vision Board In 5 Steps

Do you want to learn how to manifest using a vision board? Follow these 5 steps to manifest with a vision board.

Before we begin, let’s address the most important question. Why do vision boards help you manifest?

The reason why vision boards work for manifesting is that they help you to deliberately focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want.

Remember thoughts turn into things.

The things you attract are a reflection of your dominant thoughts and the vibration of your thoughts which is indicated by how you feel.

When you look at your vision board, you flood your mind with all the good things you desire, and thus you actively attract them into your life.

The more you focus on what you want, the better you feel.

And the better you feel, the higher your vibration is.

And you always attract things that are a vibrational match for you. There are no exceptions to this rule under the Law of Attraction.

If you’re interested in manifesting using a vision board, then follow these 5 steps to start manifesting!

1. Create Your Vision Board

The first step to manifesting with a vision board is to create it—duh!

You can do this the traditional way by gathering words and pictures from your favorite magazines, artwork, old books, or printouts from the internet.

Or you can do this digitally by using a free photo editing software like Canva and compiling your favorite pictures and words from the internet.

I’m a big fan of making digital vision boards because I don’t have that many magazines laying around and it costs a fortune to print high-quality images in color.

Whichever way you prefer, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to have fun when making your vision board.

Your actions are infused with the energy with which you do them.

Your vision board is something that you’ll look at every single day, so make sure it’s something you love!

Your vision board should revolve around these three key elements:

  • Goals
  • Desires
  • Values

Here’s a list of topics you can focus on when making your vision board:

  • Relationships
  • Career
  • Home
  • Hobbies
  • Self-care
  • Money
  • Health
  • Travel

2. Display Your Vision Boarda vision board

The second step to manifesting with a vision board is to put your vision board on display.

You want to put it somewhere you can see easily.

If you have a physical vision board, you can put it in your bedroom, your office, or your living room (if you live by yourself.)

If you have a digital vision board, you can save it to your phone or tablet, or use it as a background on your devices.

3. Visualize Your Desires Manifestingpolaroids

The third step to manifesting with a vision is to visualize your desires manifesting.

Now that we got the preparation out of the way, it’s time to start manifesting!

As I teach in my book Feeling Good, your energy creates your reality.

Therefore, it’s important to remember that it’s your feeling that attracts when it comes to manifestation.

Whatever energy and attention you put out into the Universe, will come back to you.

Out of the many manifestation techniques available, the best way to get into the feeling of what you want is through visualization.

Why? Because when you’re visualizing, you’re solely focused on what you want. And you can’t focus on what you want and what you don’t want at the same time.

Look at your vision board and begin to visualize your desires in your mind.

Focus on every picture and word and allow the positive imagery to expand your imagination.

Visualize your desire using your five senses and imagine how good it feels to experience your desire.

Most people will feel excited, optimistic, or happy which are all emotions with high vibrations.

Continue to visualize and bask in the positive vibration for up to 10 minutes.

As you look at the things on your vision board, you’ll notice it becomes increasingly easier to reach for more positive thoughts and imagery.

This is an example of the Law of Attraction at work on a thought level.

Make it a daily habit to look at your vision board and dwell on these positive thoughts and feelings.

When you feel happy, joyful, and loving, you’ll attract experiences that match your energy according to the Law of Attraction.

4. Appreciate Your Progresspictures on a desk for vision board

The fourth step to manifesting with a vision board is to appreciate the progress of your manifestations.

As you start to become a vibrational match to what you want, your desires will begin to show up in your life.

Don’t discount anything as coincidence or luck. There is no such thing when it comes to the Law of Attraction.

Everything that happens around you is a direct result of your vibration.

When you become a vibrational match for what you want, the manifestations will occur gradually.

Your vibration will attract physical situations that reflect your thoughts and feelings.

You may see words, pictures, or something on TV that is related to your desire.

You may feel inspired to go take specific actions toward your desire.

You may be guided to a certain individual, event, or opportunity.

All of these things are manifestations as a result of your vision board, but it is up to you to recognize them as such.

When you recognize these things as manifestations, you can begin to appreciate that they are leading you toward your dreams.

And living in the energy of appreciation causes you to attract more things to be appreciative of!

According to the Emotional Guidance Scale, appreciation is one of the highest vibrational energies you can be in.

When you live in high vibration, you attract high-level outcomes. Isn’t the Law of Attraction wonderful?

5. Continue Until Your Desires Manifestpictures for vision board

The final step is to continue your visualization and appreciation practice until the things on your vision board manifest.

If you’re doing the steps above correctly, you can never get tired of your vision board!

In fact, you’ll want to look at it all day every day because it feels SO GOOD to focus on what you want.

And your appreciation of your progress will give you more motivation to continue with your vision board practice.

Feel free to update your vision board at any time by adding new things or updating existing desires.
