How To Visualize and Manifest What You Want

Visualization is a powerful practice that can help you manifest what you want. This blog post will give you the 5 steps you need to master visualization.

Can You Manifest By Visualizing?

Yes. You can manifest by visualizing.

The definition of manifesting is to get into alignment with the feeling of what you want to experience and then allow that experience to come into form through the energetic alignment of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

And visualization helps you do just that.

Visualization helps you get into manifest your desire by thinking and feeling into your desire as if it has manifested.

The more you embody the positive feelings of experiencing your desire, the closer you are to manifesting your desire.

Every visualization practice should follow these 5 steps.

  1. Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed.
  2. Take a tall seat and focus on your breath to calm your thoughts.
  3. Visualize the physical form of your desire.
  4. Shift your visualization to how good your desire makes you feel.
  5. Continue to visualize and feel the shift in your vibrational energy.

Follow these 5 steps below to visualize your way to your manifestation.

1. Find A Quiet Place

The first step to manifesting using visualization is to find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed for a while.

This can be your bedroom, your basement, or your backyard.

Choose a place where you can sit in stillness for around 10 minutes.

2. Take A Seat and Breathe Deeply

The second step for visualization is to take a tall seat on the floor or in a chair.

It doesn’t matter where you sit, as long as you feel comfortable.

Remember, this visualization exercise will take around 10 minutes to complete so choose the most comfortable seated position for your body.

Once you are seated, close your eyes and start to breathe in and out deeply.

Clear your mind of excess thoughts by focusing your attention on the breath that is moving in and out of your nose or mouth.

Use your inhales to breathe in inspiration and positivity. Use your exhales to breathe out limitations and negativity.

Continue this cycle of breaths for 10 rounds.

3. Visualize Your Desire

The third step is to visualize the desire you want to manifest.

You may have lots of things you want to manifest, but for this exercise, just pick one that stands out the most to you.

If you keep a manifestation journal, feel free to look through it and pick a desire from it.

Begin to think about your desire and create a mental image of your desire in your mind.

The more details you can think of, the more realistic your manifestation will seem to you.

Use your five senses to describe your desire.

Imagine yourself being who you want to be.

Imagine yourself living the life that you want to live.

Imagine yourself doing what you want to do.

Once you have a vivid image of your desire in your mind, move on to the next step.

4. Shift Your Focus Toward Your Feelings

The fourth step to manifesting using visualization is to shift your focus toward how you feel.

Now that you have a clear picture of your desire, I want you to shift your attention toward your feelings and emotions.

Instead of just thinking about the form of your desire, think about how good it feels to experience it.

For example, if you want to manifest a new job, don’t just think about your shiny new corner office or your fancy job title. Go beyond the form by imagining how good it feels to work in a career that truly aligns with your passion.

Focus on emotions with high vibrations such as joy, happiness, or passion.

If you aren’t sure which emotion corresponds to which vibration, refer to the Emotional Guidance Scale.

You can even take it to the next level by imagining how your manifestation can elevate the spirits of your family, loved ones, and friends.

Continue to reach for better-feeling thoughts and invite positive images to enter your mind for around 5 minutes.

5. Feel Your Vibrations Shift

The final step to manifesting using visualization is to feel your energy shift toward higher vibrations.

Now that you have a strong mental image of your desire and how good it makes you feel, it’s time to let the positive energy raise your vibrations.

Continue to sit in stillness for 5 minutes and simply let the positive energy you’ve cultivated marinate.

You may feel the urge to smile or feel a sudden surge of optimism running through your body which are all good signs that your visualization is working as intended.

After your 5 minutes are up, take a moment to identify how your emotions have shifted compared to before.

Use the Emotional Guidance Scale to identify the emotions you feel now compared to the emotions you felt at the start of the practice.

Take note of any positive shifts in your emotions and notice how much your vibrations increased.

Your emotions tell you whether you are backing up your desire with positive or negative vibrations, which determines the kind of outcomes you will attract.

Because according to the Law of Attraction, whatever vibrations you send out, you will receive.

When you feel high vibrational and positive, you manifest people, situations, and experiences that support your positive energy.

When you feel low vibrational and negative, you manifest people, situations, and experiences that support your negative energy.

How Many Times To Visualize?

You should visualize daily for at least 40 days.

Why 40 days? Scientific research shows that it takes at least 40 days of consistent practice for you to form a habit of thinking more positively.

After visualizing your desire for 40 days, you should find it much easier to believe that you can have your desire.

Remember that you always attract what you believe.

When you fully believe that your desire is on its way, it has no choice but to show up.

Does Visualizing Really Work For Manifesting?

Yes. Visualizing really works for manifesting. I have used it to manifest so many things myself.

Visualizing is so reliable for manifesting because it’s something you can do all the time.

As long as you stick to it, your desire will soon turn into a belief. And what you believe you will receive.

How Long Does It Take For Visualization To Work?

It usually takes at least 40 days of consistent practice for visualization to start working.

The exact time it will take for your desire to manifest depends on how well you stay in alignment with the belief that you will manifest what you want.

The more you doubt, worry, or attack your desire with negative thoughts. The longer it will take for your desire to manifest.

So it’s important for your thoughts to stay in alignment with your desire throughout the day. Not just when doing your visualization.

As long as you believe you will manifest what you want, you will manifest it into your life.

Does Visualisation Always Work?

Yes. Visualization always works.

However, it’s important to make sure your thoughts are in alignment with your desire throughout the day.

The biggest mistake people make is thinking contradictory thoughts all day long.

Every thought you have affects what you will manifest.

You cannot visualize your desire but spend the rest of your day worrying and doubting it.

In order for visualization to work, you must make sure your thoughts support your desire during and after your visualization practice.

Yes. You can use visualization to manifest love. This method is universal and it works for all kinds of desires including romantic relationships.

The key to using visualization to manifest love is to keep your thoughts in alignment with your desire all day long.

You can’t expect results if you do the visualization but spend all your time worrying about your desire during the rest of the day.

Every thought you have is a signal to the Universe asking for what you want.

In order to visualize effectively, it’s important to plan ahead and write down your imaginary scene before starting your visualization.

If you don’t know exactly what you want, it’s going to be harder to imagine and create the images in your mind.

So before you attempt your visualization, take some time to describe what your imaginary scene will look like.

Use this prompt to come up with your scene: What would my life look like if my desire has already manifested?

Describe yourself, your surroundings, the people around you, what you’re doing, what you’re saying, what you’re feeling, etc.

The scene doesn’t have to be complex, just long enough to bring the scene to life.

Make sure to include all the senses and imagine the end. Only the end. The end is what your life would look like after you achieved this desire. Not the steps leading up to it.

For example, if your ultimate desire is to get married, then don’t imagine being on a date with your partner.

Instead, you want to imagine a short scene where you see yourself living the life AFTER your desire has manifested. Perhaps you are cuddling with your partner while wearing a wedding ring or perhaps you are cooking in the kitchen with your partner.  Everyone has their own preferences, so choose the scene that makes you feel the best.

Another tip to make your scene seem more real is to add dialogue to the visualization. If you want to manifest a promotion at work, imagine a scene where your colleagues are saying congratulations to you. Or your parents telling you how proud they are of you.

The reason why you feel like you can’t visualize anything is that you are putting too much pressure on yourself to visualize correctly.

Step away from the instructions and how-tos, and just take it easy.

Let your imagination do its thing.

There is no right or wrong way to visualize.

You have been visualization your entire life, you just didn’t know it.

When you think about what you’re going to do this weekend, you’re visualizing.

When you think about what you’re going to eat for dinner, you’re visualizing.

When you think about all the things you’re going to do during your upcoming vacation, you’re visualizing.

Visualizing is easy. So stop putting the pressure on yourself and just have fun with it.
