I totally get it. It’s so frustrating when the Law of Attraction doesn’t seem to be working because you just feel completely stuck.
But don’t worry, that is totally fixable, you just have to pinpoint where you went wrong.
Here are the top 10 Law of Attraction mistakes people make.
1. Holding On To Limiting Beliefs
The first Law of Attraction mistake is holding on to limiting beliefs.
Limiting beliefs are the beliefs that constraint your thoughts, feelings, and actions in some way, shape, or form.
These beliefs are often formed during your childhood as a result of negative events or experiences.
Our subconscious mind creates limiting beliefs to try to shield us from further trauma in that particular moment, but these beliefs often remain in our subconscious mind for years to come.
These limiting beliefs can hold you back from manifesting what you want because they can be fighting against the exact thing you are trying to attract into your life.
For example, you will never be able to manifest a life of financial freedom if you’re holding onto the belief that you’re not good at managing your money.
The best way to get rid of a limiting belief is to replace it with a new one—a positive belief that serves you.

2. Trying To Manifest Too Many Things
The second Law of Attraction mistake is trying to manifest too many things at once.
As I teach in my manifestation course, the first step to manifesting anything is to get clear about what you want.
Being crystal clear about what you want to manifest helps you get into the feeling of that experience and attract it into your reality.
If you are trying to manifest too many things at once, your energy will be all over the place and you might end up not being able to manifest any of them.
Instead, you should focus your energy and desire one thing at a time.
That way you can have dedicated time and space to practice your manifestation techniques and attract your desire into your life.
3. Worrying About The Future
The third Law of Attraction mistake is worrying about the future.
Many people mess up their manifestation because they are constantly checking and worrying about whether their desire will manifest.
This is a big no-no because it essentially negates all the work you have put into the Law of Attraction process.
Feelings of worry lower your vibration and create huge resistance against the positive feelings that you want to experience.
Trust that the Universe’s plan always exceeds yours and will always lead to the highest good.

4. Doubting The Process
The fourth Law of Attraction mistake is to doubt the process.
A lot of people are skeptical of the Law of Attraction but they dabble in it because they think there’s no harm in trying.
Well, if you don’t believe in the Law of Attraction, you’re just going to attract more outcomes that support your disbelief. This is literally how the Law of Attraction works.
If you truly want to manifest what you want, it’s important to proactively shift your perspective from a place of doubt to a place of belief.
Suspend your disbelief and trust in the process.
Remember, that faith in a higher power is at the core of all spiritual practices like manifestation.
5. Not Taking Action
The fifth mistake when it comes to the Law of Attraction is not taking action.
A common misconception about manifesting is you can just think about your desire and it will appear.
But it doesn’t work like that—nothing does.
Now, these actions don’t even have to be big. It’s okay to take baby steps.
Besides taking practical actions, you can also use spiritual practices to raise your energy such as saying I Am affirmations, praying to the Universe, or asking for guidance through affirmation cards.
The thing that matters the most here is you must take these actions from a place of energetic alignment, meaning you should feel good when you are doing them.
Aligned actions should feel easy, confident, and almost effortless.
6. Being Impatient
The sixth Law of Attraction mistake is being impatient.
This is one of the biggest mistakes when it comes to the Law of Attraction because we are so used to getting what we want instantly.
We’re fearful of the passage of time but time is irrelevant to the Universe.
The fact that we can’t control the timing of our manifestations causes many manifestors to spiral down into low vibrational emotions like fear and worry.
Low vibrational energy throws you out of alignment with your desire so you end up not manifesting what you want.
Release the when and simply enjoy raising your vibrations through your spiritual practices.
Trust that everything you need will come to you when the timing is perfect.
Always remember that the Universe will conspire to lead you to the highest good. Simply step back and let the Universe lead the way.
7. Not Letting Go Of The Outcome
The seventh Law of Attraction mistake is not letting go of the outcome.
The key to aligning yourself with the Universe is to allow yourself to fully let go of the outcome.
This is a difficult task because we tend to believe we know what’s best for us. This creates a controlling vibe that cuts us off from universal guidance.

You must let go of what you think you need to receive what is of the highest good.
Trust that your positive energy is enough to attract the outcomes that are the best fit for you.
8. Using Affirmations Incorrectly
The eighth Law of Attraction mistake is using affirmations incorrectly.
Affirmations are a great way to get into vibrational alignment with the feelings you want to experience.
- Instead of saying “I’m not ugly,” where not and ugly are both negative words, choose to say “I am beautiful.”
- Instead of saying “I will lose weight,” where will is implying an outcome in the future, choose to say “I am losing weight.”
Review the affirmations you are using and reframe them to affirm what you want rather than what you don’t want.
9. Not Saying Yes Enough
The ninth Law Of Attraction mistake is not saying yes enough to new opportunities.
When you get into vibrational alignment with positive energy, the Universe will arrange people, situations, and opportunities that will lead you to your highest good.
But it is up to you to step outside your comfort zone and go for these opportunities.
If you are too picky or scared, you may end up blocking these opportunities that the Universe has given to you.
When you are practicing The Law of Attraction, you must be willing to say yes more.
Trust that the Universe will not give you the ability to dream without giving you the means to fulfill that dream.
10. Lack of Gratitude
The final Law of Attraction mistake is a lack of gratitude.
One of the most important steps to manifest what you want is gratitude and appreciation.
When you are not grateful for what you have, you are dwelling in a negative state of lack.
This gives off needy and manipulative energy which cuts you off from the loving presence of the Universe.
This is why it’s so important to make a conscious effort to appreciate what you do have right now.
Every time you express gratitude for something, you raise your vibrational frequency and open yourself up to receive the loving guidance of the Universe.
Appreciating what you have right now allows you to attract more of it.
